VirProt is Martin Ireland's helper application to integrate command-line virus scanning into a Mercury32 policy. Similar to VirScan, the extension for PegasusMail, VirProt is not a virus scanner, it is an application to make the integration of a virus scanner easier. You have to supply the virus scanner. I prefer ClamAV. Martin Ireland provides sample command lines for using many different AV products, such as Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc.
